“Gillespie Park is a place that I have visited almost every day during the last few months. I primarily go there as a place to practice singing; although it is small it is easy to find spots where no-one can hear you. This is why vocals play quite a prominent role in this piece. There are also field recordings of people speaking at points - to try to represent that awareness that you are in nature but enveloped by a city. The relationship between hope and loss is the main theme in this piece - my ambles through the park were often spent exploring these feelings, thoughts and dreams.”

Wazoo is an electronic music producer from North London, his style blends rhythmic percussive layers with intimate ambient drones to create intricately woven listening experiences.
