"This walk moves along the edge of a canal, sandwiched between old industrial buildings and a nature reserve; it's a really beautiful part of London but still has this pervasive sense of anxiety from the industrial city backdrop. So I think that contention between the purity of nature vs the impassion of the city is what this piece of music is trying to address. It's mainly ambient, built out of local field recordings and detuned synths, and progresses in a way that attempts to reflect walking this route."

Eden's been involved in a number of musical projects across London, focusing on the live music scene but with recent forays into production. Working mostly in Supercollider to create evolving stochastic textures, this is his first project that combines this new sound palette with traditional techno rhythms, warped saxophone, and modular synthesis.
